1.) Name
Address
City, State
cell number
Name and city of your veterinarian.
2.) How did you hear about us? (which website?)
3.) What inspired you to begin your Bengal adventure?
4.) What experience do you have with animals?
(i.e: have you owned a housecat?
using scratching posts, and litter boxes, and shamies for hair grooming on occasion?)
5.) Family members? (children? other pets?)
Proper and limited introduction is key,
so that all feel comfortable,
and gradually grow to know and love eachother.
6.) Who will companion your new bengal if you are away?
7. ) Please note we abide by TICA ethics which include a no declaw and no demeow policy,
unless in dire emergency,
since this greatly changes the personality and survivability of the cat.
Any misbehavior in these areas on the part of the cat,
can be usually corrected easily
by other means (squirt bottle is a great means, youtube help)
If you rent, are you allowed to have cats who are not declawed?
8.) We also follow the advice of keeping kitty inside, or on a leash,
in otherwords, if outside, kitty is always supervised
to protect your investment.
NOTE: Sometimes kitties do well to also have an outdoor enclosure for a change of scenery.
This can be as simple as a dog kennel, with pavers, and tarped roof, preferrably with some shelves.
Storage tubs with lids and a door cut in the side serve well as inexpensive litter box and a separate one with bedding.
"Catios" can take lots of different forms. Which best suits you?
.
9.) Are you aware of the different qualities of pet food,
and one that is high in protein pays off,
helping your kitten to strut his/her stuff?
10.) Do you want:
a girl or boy? or does gender matter ("anymore?")
a pet or show?
one or two?
which one(s)?
11.) Are you intested in installment payments, or
paying in full?
Note: Payment in full is, recommended, 2 weeks prior to pickup/delivery of kitty.
12.) When would you like to purchase and take home your kitty?
Thank you for telling us about you.
We are as excited as you about selecting your new family member.
